Reconfirmations and new entries at the special edition of Italian Exhibition Group's show, the international event of reference for fitness, wellbeing, healthy eating, sports and movement

Tickets available exclusively online

Rimini, 24-26 September 2021 – Summer 2021 will last a few days longer thanks to the appointment with RiminiWellness, Italian Exhibition Group's international event dedicated to fitness, sport and wellness. From Friday 24th to Sunday 26th September at the Rimini Expo Centre and on the Romagnolo Riviera, the 15th edition of the event will be underway in a special Active Edition which will see numerous events taking place to offer the public moments of sheer pleasure.
The exhibition section with sector companies, aimed at professional and international operators, which, in recent years was included under the Pro.Fit. brand, will instead return on stage in 2022.

A long-awaited return that opens an intense international season for Italian Exhibition Group's Sport & Leisure Division. Due to the Group's recent development actions, the autumn will subsequently see IEG busy from 28th to 30th October with the staging of the acquired events, the Dubai Muscle Show and Dubai Active at the Dubai World Trade Centre. 25th to 27th November will be the turn of the new Active & Sport Expo in Leon, Mexico, an event resulting from the prestigious joint venture with Deutsche Messe in Hanover and aimed at launching new sector events in Latin America.

At RiminiWellness ‘Active Edition' 2021, physical activity will be the main feature thanks to the numerous disciplines enlivening the 3 days of the show, including new entries and re-confirmations. CrossFit® will play an important role with the sixth edition of Italian Showdown, the largest annual sports competition recognised and accredited by the CrossFit® brand, which this year, for the first time in history, will take place in the Expo Centre's Hall B5 and will be open to all athletes - professionals and amateurs alike - who will be able to test their skills in various disciplines, such as weightlifting, freestyle gymnastics, cardio and endurance exercises.

Another brand to look out for is Pound, which offers a high-impact aerobic discipline involving a blend of cardio movements, isometrics, plyometrics and Pilates. Cycling enthusiasts will be interested in Cyclex - presented by Group Cycling® - a new indoor training format for cycling that combines pedalling with a total body workout on the bike.

The area dedicated to holistic therapies foresees various courses through which visitors will be able to try out activities such as Antigravity Yoga, Bio-gymnastics or BodyFly to rebalance body and mind. There will also be the 'Oasi del Benessere' (Wellness Oasis) which will englobe Pianeta Yoga, one of the most eagerly awaited areas, where YOGA will be offered in all its many facets and interpretations, from traditional to the most performing and innovative methods.

The list of "regulars" includes the ever-popular Zumba, which this year will be joined by Strong Nation, a workout that combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training with movements that are designed to tone and burn calories to the rhythm of the music. The New Zealand company Les Mills will also be there, presenting new training programmes consisting of group fitness classes based on choreography and exercises synchronised to music.

Also in attendance, Jill Cooper, the 'Queen of Fitness in Italy and inventor of Superjump, who, after appearing at numerous editions of the show, will be back at RiminiWellness ‘Active Edition'2021 with a full programme of 100% musical and functional classes and workshops to demonstrate the practicality, versatility and effectiveness of this type of training.

Lastly, since physical exercise goes hand in hand with healthy eating, FoodWell Expo will be back for its 7th edition, completing the IEG event's offer by proposing an ideal diet for keeping fit with quality products.

RiminiWellness ‘Active Edition 2021', like all IEG shows, will take place in total safety. All those attending the event are required to exhibit a Green Pass certifying that they have either recovered from Covid-19, been vaccinated or swabbed within the last 48 hours, have their temperature checked and wear a face mask. You are also reminded that tickets are available exclusively online on the show's website.
