MIR 2023: RENEWED FORMAT IN THE NAME OF TECHNOLOGICAL INTEGRATION

The 6th edition, full of news, from live to system integration, expands its target audience with a nod to sustainability

Rimini, 31st January 2023 – Innovation and multimedia audio-video technologies are once again the protago-nists at MIR, the event organized by Italian Exhibition Group which involves the entire Light, Sound, Visual, In-tegrated System & Broadcast supply chain. Rimini and its surrounding area, which has always been a laborato-ry of content for the world of entertainment, is preparing to welcome the 6th edition, from April 2nd to 4th 2023 in Rimini Expo Centre. The event will be organized into thematic areas with the aim of returning a unique, complete and engaging experience.

MIR Tech: a true Audio/Video exhibition
The name MIR Tech remains to define the ´historic´ area of the tradeshow dedicated to manufacturers of au-dio, video, lighting and control technologies and music and entertainment services. However, there is an area with an important innovation, namely the partnership with SIEC, Systems Integration Experience Community. The public will be able to discover new solutions, technologies and creativity and live unique experiences that companies will recreate in the exhibition itineraries. The planned activities will be aimed not only at sector operators and rental companies, but also at a wider audience - B2B end users - which involves system integra-tors, architects, designers, consultants and creative agencies. MIR Tech will be a real ´Audio Video Exhibition´ scenario in which all the topics related to new trends in the world of work, teaching, space design, interactive and immersive solutions will also be discussed.

AV Experience: an immersive gallery
Also in MIR Tech, an innovation that will give even more impetus to the event is the creation of the AV Experi-ence area, an authentic immersive gallery made up of a set of installations created by companies using multi-media solutions. This space will constitute an interesting showcase for categories such as architects, engi-neers, IT managers, designers who increasingly need to design or use innovative technological solutions to be applied in different contexts such as events, theatres, museums, workplaces, the world of training and retail.
MIR Club: place of exchange between creatives and sustainable projects
Another of the absolute news of this edition is MIR Club, an exclusive project dedicated to the ´makers´ of the music and entertainment industry. The birth of this new area was possible thanks to the collaboration with Music Innovation Hub, the first social enterprise SPA that feeds innovative and socially responsible projects in the music sector, to also accompany companies towards a more sustainable future. MIR Club is therefore a space designed for the active participation of professionals and enthusiasts of the sector. The goal is to cre-ate an environment for meeting, dialogue and comparison between artists, makers in the field of conception, production of live music events and the most diverse creative and cultural industries.

LIVE YOU PLAY: the backstage is on stage
The partnership with the organizers of Live You Play, which due to its peculiarities remains a unique format in the world, returns for this edition. This project gives all professionals the opportunity to learn the secrets and strengths of all equipment, above and below the stage. All audio, video and lighting technologies will be on trial and fully functional.
