Rimini, 2-5 June 2022 - The countdown has begun to the start of the 16th edition of RiminiWellness, the Italian Exhibition Group European event of reference for fitness, sport, wellness and healthy eating. From 2nd to 5th June 2022, Rimini Expo Centre will become one big gym ready to attract thousands of sports enthusiasts. But that´s not all: RiminiWellness will once again be the privileged marketplace for leading companies in the sector as they take advantage of this opportunity to display their offer and market innovations to boost B2B relations with buyers and national and international professional operators.

Pro.Fit, the show´s business area, will be back after three years with four exhibition halls specifically for sector operators, such as gym and fitness centre owners, personal trainers, physiotherapists and managers of sports and medical facilities. World leaders in the production of gym equipment and machinery, companies that specialise in sports clothing and accessories as well as the main suppliers of gym, wellness centre and spa furnishings and cross-training and functional training equipment will be present. Innovation and technology will also be featuring with companies focused on the development of management software, training services for companies, businesses, artisans, micro-businesses and rehabilitation and sports medicine devices. Training schools will also be promoting their offer for tomorrow´s professionals.

Emphasising the importance of returning to taking part in the IEG event will be two prominent protagonists of Pro.FIT: the trade associations, ANIF Eurowellness (National Association of Sport&Fitness Facilities) and Assosport.
Giampaolo Duregon, President of ANIF Eurowellness, says: ´ We are extremely happy to be able to return to RiminiWellness this year. ANIF has been actively participating in events and trade shows for 26 years and in recent years, we have always organised our National Conference in Rimini. This year we decided to have an even more incisive presence and are drawing up a full programme of appointments at our stand where operators, consultants and members will once more be able to meet, reconnect and team up to face the challenges of this new post-Covid scenario together.´
According to Luca Bettini, President of Assofitness, the Italian fitness company organisation attached to Assosport, ´the propensity to exercise has led to a boom in outdoor training in recent months, but we are convinced that, as the autumn/winter season approaches, this will also translate into a mass return to gyms, which will be numerically smaller, but will once again be able to invest in the quality of service offered to customers. In this panorama, our presence at RiminiWellness, an essential showcase for professionals in the sector, not only aims at being a sign of continuity, but also, and above all, one of growth and rebirth. We are here and we are ready to start again.´

ANIF Eurowellness and Assosport will be promoting conferences and seminars to create moments of discussion on important topics related to the fitness market.
Not to be missed is the ANIF National Conference on Friday 3rd, during which topics under debate will include ´Sport Reform. A tool for the restart´, in the presence of President Duregon and guests such as Sports and Health President, Vito Cozzoli, CSI President, Vittorio Bosio, the President of the Sports Credit Institute, Andrea Abodi, lawyer Alberto Succi and Giulio Marotta, Soundreef Italy´s Sales Manager. The conference will continue with ´A European vision to face the future of fitness together´, attended by corporate representatives such as Andrea Paulsen, CEO of EuropeActive, Christophe Andanson for Les Mills, Davide Pozos for GO Fit, Jennifer HalSall-De Witt for WIFA and many more.
ANIF will also enliven Thursday and Saturday with its ANIF Talks, which will focus on a wide range of topics related to business development opportunities in the sporting environment.

Organised by Assosport in collaboration with FIF – Italian Fitness Federation, the conference on Thursday 2nd June, entitled ´The correct biomechanics for pathologies sensitive to physical activity´, will see physiotherapists Michele Truglio and Sara Sergi offering an analysis of the world of physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Friday 3rd will be the turn of ´The future of fitness: How users and gym proposals have changed´ with Gianluca Scazzosi from GLS Consulting, Marco Meli from Les Mills and Viviana Fabozzi from FIF, who will be exploring consumer changes and the most popular workouts.
