RIMINIWELLNESS 2022, THE FITNESS WORLD HAS RESTARTED

RiminiWellness is back. The 16th edition of the Italian Exhibition Group event dedicated to fitness, wellness, sport and healthy eating - which closed in Rimini yesterday - confirmed, at both the Expo Centre and on the Riviera, the strength and positivity with which the sector has tackled these last few extremely complex years and, during its four days, attracted all the communities of reference in this highly diverse sector.
In the opinion of sector operators, RiminiWellness fully represented the market´s desire to react and restart by offering, on its countless stages, the best proof of confidence in a prompt relaunch. The latest products presented by the companies and the innovative training disciplines that the public were able to try out with the best presenters and trainers, filled twenty halls with energy, offering 1,500 hours of training and 60 conferences and seminars.
This 2022 edition will go down in the archives as the restart edition. The air at the show was buzzing with the enthusiasm of the sporting population and wellness and fitness enthusiasts. While exhibitors promoted their activities, tens of thousands of people arrived at Rimini Expo Centre to share in the fun and relaxation. A boost of self-confidence for a sector that was among the most penalised during the pandemic years and that is restarting from here with new energy and optimism for the future. EXTRAORDINARY MEDIA VISIBILITY
The event received exceptional attention from both traditional and digital media: 200 million contacts were reached through dozens of television and radio reports by RAI, MEDIASET and SKY, the sector press, online and offline newspapers, web channels brimming with news about RiminiWellness and innovative partnerships with the likes of Media One, the DOOH company leader, and publishing giants, from RCS to My Personal Trainer, QN and Tuttosport, all contributing to strengthening the brand visibility of RiminiWellness with an extensive digital dimension.AT THE SHOW, THE WORLD OF ASSOCIATIONS, SPORT AND ENTERTAINMENT
Vito Cozzoli, President of Sport e Salute, spoke at the conference organised by ANIF entitled ´Sport reform, a tool for the restart´. Numerous protagonists from the world of entertainment and sport were also among the halls. Vittoria Belvedere and Gabriel Garko were at the Media One stand, Italy´s leading agency in out-of-home and digital out-of-home advertising. And several Sport and Health ´legends´ such as Giuseppe Gibilisco and Stefano Maniscalco and the great Juri Chechi, were also in attendance.A THOUSAND BODY BUILDERS FOR RIMINISTEEL
Almost a thousand bodybuilders crowded the RiminiSteel area dedicated to the world of martial arts, body building, physical culture and combat sports. One stage hosted the MR & MISS AINBB competition for natural bodybuilding and the Absolute Italian Championship organised by the Wabba International Federation, one of the world´s leading organisations in the sector, while the other was reserved for RiminiSteel Classic, a PRO QUALIFIER competition for IFBB national federation affiliates.A SUCCESSFUL ACTIVE AREA
The Active area for holistic disciplines was double the size. The numerous proposals included the ´Yoga on stage´ project and the 12th Pilates Junction. There were also some new disciplines: from Fitness dance workout with GPASSÈ and BALLET FIT, to Zumba Strong Nation™, the Obstacle Course Run and military fitness with the Italian Army. Also at the show for the second year running was Italian Showdown, the largest annual sports competition recognised and accredited by the CrossFit® brand.NEW PRODUCTS AND TRAINING WITH PRO.FIT
After a year, leading sector companies in the production of gym equipment and machinery, sportswear, accessories and furnishings, as well as insiders and professionals, returned to exhibit their latest ideas in the Pro.Fit area, the privileged marketplace for establishing relations with buyers and operators worldwide. These companies, together with the ANIF and Assosport trade associations, were also the promoters of a wide training offer for the professionals of tomorrow. FOODWELL EXPO, WELLNESS NUTRITION
