IEG, FLUIDTECH EXPO: IN VICENZA, A NEW SHOW FOR THE PUMP, VALVE, COMPONENT AND WATER TREATMENT TECHNOLOGY SECTORS

• The dates have been set at 28th to 30th September 2027. The event will take place every two years in the halls of Vicenza Expo Centre
• Fluidtech will be part of IEG´s Green&Tech events portfolio which already includes the water sector


Vicenza, 20th March 2026 - Fluidtech Expo is the name of Italian Exhibition Group´s (IEG) new event for pumps, valves, components and water treatment technologies that will be making its debut among the halls at Vicenza Expo Centre from 28th to 30th September 2027.
The new trade show is in line with IEG´s strategic plan, oriented towards diversification in sectors with high potential for growth and internationalisation, such as energy efficiency, and will further enrich the exhibition group´s Green&Technology events portfolio that already includes the water sector.

The aim of Fluidtech Expo is to become a reference event in Europe able to combine business, innovation and international relations in a strategic sector such as that of water mechanics and plant engineering.
In this context, the choice of Vicenza and the North Eastern territory is an added value: the area is, in fact, home to a historic district of companies specialised in the reference sectors, consolidating the link between the event and a first-class production fabric.
In the European panorama of water mechanics, Italy continues to hold a top position and confirms its status as Europe´s second market for both pumps and valves (source: Assopompe/AVR). In 2025, civil primary water plants reported a production of 350 million euros, while industrial primary water plants totalled 485 million euros of production (source: Anima). Numbers that prove the solidity and competitiveness of a key sector for the ecological transition and the efficiency of water infrastructure.

Exhibition area, networking and in-depth scientific content

Fluidtech Expo originates from dialogue between Italian Exhibition Group and the sector´s leading companies. The aim is to create a truly useful and ´smart´ business-oriented vertical event in the water mechanics and plant engineering sector with high quality set-up solutions, which can be customised with add-on graphics, to allow companies to focus on their customers and commercial opportunities.
Alongside the exhibition area, Fluidtech will also offer in-depth scientific and informative moments, training courses and technical meetings for sector professionals. There will be no shortage of formal and informal evening events in iconic Vicenza venues, designed to promote the area as well as foster networking and quality relationships between exhibitors, buyers and stakeholders.

Numerous companies in the sector have already expressed interest in participating, confirming the attention and expectations that the project is generating.
