ITALIAN EXHIBITION GROUP: A FIVE-YEAR AGREEMENT INKED WITH MONTICHIARI´S GARDA EXHIBITION CENTRE

The contract signed keeps GOLOSITALIA in the élite of food & beverage expos organized by IEG


Montichiari/Rimini, 18th April 2019 – Five more years of Golositalia in Montichiari. Garda Exhibition Centre SpA and Italian Exhibition Group SpA have signed a five-year agreement that keeps the international exhibition that IEG dedicates to Northwest Italian food service professionals at the Brescia expo centre.

The agreement was signed by the president of Garda Exhibition Centre SpA, Germano Giancarli, and Ugo Ravanelli, CEO of Italian Exhibition Group.

Organized for the last two years by IEG in the Montichiari expo centre with excellent results in terms of business and attendance, Golositalia showcases excellent wine and food products, products typical of the area, quality, bio and zero-mile material, as well as professional equipment and technical solutions for food service, occupying five halls of the Brescia expo centre.
The B2B and B2C format meets the requirements of all the agrifood sector´s players: Horeca trade members and national and international distribution chain buyers, as well as end clients. The days at Golositalia are also enriched by training and updating events, demos and show cooking.

With this agreement, Golositalia continues to take advantage of an extraordinary area for the proliferation of enterprises in its specific sector and a high-profile expo centre, as well as maintaining its key role in the international portfolio of expos that IEG organizes in the food & beverage sector: Cosmofood at Vicenza trade fair centre, with the same format for the North East area; at Rimini Expo Centre, SIGEP, the international artisan confectionery expo, AB TECH Expo for the bakery chain, Beer & Food Attraction – craft beer and food for trendsetting foodservice and fast food, Foodwell Expo dedicated to nutrition addressing sport and wellness, Foodnova, the evolution of Gluten Free Expo which will also include Lactose Free expo, plus the new entries, Expo Veg and Ethnic Food Expo.

Montichiari´s Garda Exhibition Centre is located at the centre of an area that is strategic for both the number of manufacturing facilities and tourism potential and is Lombardy´s second largest trade fair centre. The centre occupies an area of 248,000 square metres, of which 80,000 can be used for exhibitions, and also provides a multi-function conference centre. In 2018 it hosted 21 trade fairs and 16 corporate events, as well as a program of conferences and congresses. The Garda Exhibition Centre (Brescia) operates with a view to territorial marketing, focussing on internationalization and developing network logics, interacting with the most relevant clusters and the local area´s excellent producers and manufacturers.
