ITALIAN EXHIBITION GROUP: FOCUS ON

Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) SpA, listed on the Mercato Telematico Azionario organized and managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A. (Italy's stock exchange), is the Italian leader in the direct organization of owned expos and one of the main players in Europe in the expo and conference sector, with its venues in Rimini and Vicenza. It trades in six business lines (events organized; conference events; events hosted; related services; publishing and sports events).
In 2018, IEG held an overall total of 53 organized or hosted exhibitions and 181 conference events.

THE FIGURES
IEG ended the 2018 financial year with a total consolidated turnover of 159.7 million euros, an EBITDA of 30.8 million and a net consolidated profit of 10.8 million euros.

LEADERSHIP
IEG, which controls the entire value chain of the events it organizes, stands out for the organization of expo events in five categories:
Food & Beverage; Jewellery & Fashion; Tourism, Hospitality & Lifestyle; Wellness, Sports and Leisure; Green & Technology. Among the world´s top events are SIGEP, VICENZAORO, TECNARGILLA, ECOMONDO, TTG and RIMINIWELLNESS. The Group is also Italy´s national leader in the conference/convention sector.

INTERNATIONALIZATION
IEG does important business abroad. In 2018 a joint venture with VNU debuted in China for two expos on the tourist trade. In March 2019 the first edition was held of the Chengdu Environmental Protection Expo - the international B2B platform for Green Technology in Southwest China, acquired last year by IEG. Also last year, stand fitting company FB International was acquired in the USA, and a partnership was recently formed between IEG and Emerald for the organization of Premier in Las Vegas, in the jewellery sector. In the same sector, in Dubai, IEG organizes Vicenzaoro Dubai.

RIMINI: THE EXPO CENTRE AND PALACONGRESSI CONFERENCE CENTRE
Completed in 2001 and expanded in 2017, Rimini Expo Centre is one of the largest trade fair hubs in Italy. Entirely laid out on ground-floor level, it has 189,000 square metres of useable space, of which 129,000 is gross expo space and 60,000 square metres space for services, and features 24 modular conference rooms, an on-site mainline railway station and parking facilities for 11,000 cars, as well as three press rooms, a business centre and restaurants/food service corners. In 2011, Rimini´s new Palacongressi conference centre, also designed by Hamburg´s GMP, was inaugurated. It stands in an area of 38,000 square metres, has 39 rooms, an overall seating capacity of 9,000, service areas, catering facilities and underground parking for 500 cars.

VICENZA: THE EXPO CENTRE AND CONVENTION CENTRE
Since 2014, Vicenza Expo Centre has had the advantage of an important upgrade and expansion and covers a useable area of 80,000 square metres; it features a raised area with a food service zone and conference rooms, various service areas for exhibitors and visitors, eateries, a press room and meeting rooms. It has an 8-level multi-storey car park with space 600 cars. ViCC, the Vicenza Convention Centre (inaugurated in 2014), can host 1,200 people and includes the Palladio Theatre with a seating capacity of over 700: it consists in a modular area with three permanent rooms, as well as areas dedicated to welcoming attendees and holding events.
