The 17th edition of the Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) event dedicated to fitness, wellness, sport and healthy eating - which ended yesterday at Rimini Expo Centre and on the Riviera - consecrated its role as a catalyst event for the entire industry and all the sector´s communities.
With its new format and dual professional and consumer soul, the four intense days - from 1st to 4th June - of work and fun ended with a resounding success also on the attendance front, which returned to 2019 levels.
And the 240 events of RiminiWellness Off, the off-show event organised by IEG and Rimini City Council, also saw the entire Riviera ´on the move´.
RiminiWellness re-launched confidence in a robust growth in the market among operators by offering an authoritative overview of the sector with the States General of Fitness and Wellness and a non-stop series of educational appointments in collaboration with Anif, Elav, FIF, Assosport, 24Ore Business School, OneSporter, Rex, Sport e Salute, WeSportUp and many others. It also launched trends and disciplines such as HYROX and encouraged enthusiasts not only to follow correct and customised workouts for healthy lifestyles but also a balanced and tasty diet with its considerably larger Foodwell area.

RiminiWellness 2023 captured the attention of the media with 270 million contacts (+30% compared to 2019). Hundreds of TV and radio reports, articles in the trade press, online and offline newspapers and web channels turned the event into the symbol of the opening of a summer season on which the entire Romagna region is counting, especially after the natural disaster of the past few weeks. Big numbers also on social media: total coverage amounted to a reach of over 4.5 million.
