Dentro Rimini batte anche un cuore antico: dai monumenti dell’epoca romana (Arco d’Augusto, Ponte di Tiberio, Anfiteatro, Domus del Chirurgo, unicum a livello internazionale) alle testimonianze del Medioevo e del Rinascimento, come gli affreschi trecenteschi dell’abside della Chiesa di S. Agostino, il Crocifisso di Giotto, il Tempio Malatestiano e Castel Sismondo.

Lungo la Riviera di Rimini, cinque rinomate località balneari si bagnano nel Mare Adriatico, con i suoi fondali bassi e i suoi 40 km di spiaggia dalla sabbia finissima. Inoltrandosi invece nel vicino entroterra, dall'altisonante nome di Malatesta & Montefeltro, ventidue cittadine offrono il meglio di sé, distese nelle stupende vallate dei fiumi Conca e Marecchia. Qui l’occhio può riposare sul verde delle colline e sulle numerose testimonianze storiche e artistiche di cui sono ricchi borghi e paesi.

Rimini also has ancient roots: from the monuments dating back to the Roman Empire (the Arch of Augustus, Tiberius Bridge, the amphitheatre and the Surgeon’s House, unique at international level) to traces of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, such as the 14^th century frescoes in the apse of the Church of St Augustine, the Giotto crucifix, the Malatesta Temple and Sismondo Castle.

Along the Rimini Riviera, five renowned seaside resorts extend along the Adriatic Sea, with its shallow water and 40 kilometres of beach with powder-fine sand. Travelling into the nearby inland areas, with the high-sounding names of Malatesta & Montefeltro, twenty two towns offer spectacular sights along the marvellous valleys of the Conca and Marecchia rivers. Here, visitors never tire of viewing the greenery of the hills and the numerous historical and artistic features of which the villages and towns are full.
